These types include democracy, absolute monarchy, constitutional republic, plutocracy, oligarchy, dictatorship, constitutional monarchy and totalitarian. Government controls all parts and spheres of state, establishes law and controls it. The type of government describes type of policy in a country. The most widespread kinds of government today are democracy and constitutional monarchy. Though, in many countries they prefer totalitarian type of government. Every type of government has its own rules and provides citizens with different rights and freedoms.
